New Product Development Quality Engineer

* Responsible for receiving, reviewing and evaluating the quality related project requests and planning general quality activities for project completion.

* Research and interpret industry standards and technical information and apply knowledge to satisfying quality design inputs and/or maintaining assigned product line(s).

* Carry out quality assignments for new product development projects as planned, performs simulation tests and analyses in the form of Design of Experiments, statistical methods, or other simulation methods.

* Use lean six sigma principles in analysis and evaluation of data relevant to product quality and requests, performs, and analyzes laboratory tests as appropriate.

* Conduct engineering investigations (such as product failures, customer complaints, variation notices, rejects and deviations), summarizes findings and prepares and distributes appropriate solutions.

* Develop software solutions or uses software tools to assist in data analysis, calculations, graphics, tabulations and other related tasks to increase productivity.



Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and one to two years related experience and/or training; 6 Sigma Green Belt Certification.
