Non-Ballistic Survivability T&E Engineer - MRAP

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field and at least 7 years of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for degree requirement. Must have experience with Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and test and evaluation. The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally, is essential. Must possess ability to use MS Office to prepare test reports and briefings.Position will require travel within U.S. Position requires ability to obtain a clearance -U.S. Citizenship required. Current Secret is desired. Job Description : EG&G is seeking a Non-Ballistic Survivability Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to join our team in support of the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles. The MRAP program is a highly accelerated joint service acquisition program lead by the US Marine Corps and considered to be the Defense Departments highest priority. The selected candidate will provide technical lead for the development, implementation and evaluation of data collected from the Non- Ballistic Survivability Test program. This program includes all testing directly connected to the Electomagentic Interference (EMI), NBC and Jammer Performances evaluations. Duties include developing test plans, ensure all Non-Ballistic testing is accomplished per policy and test and evaluation master plan (TEMP). Monitor all electronic test operation at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Yuma Proving Ground, Pax River, SPAWAR and any other test site contracted to perform MRAP testing. Will require travel as necessary to perform this function. Will Chair T & E meeting involving Non-Ballistic events. Track and report the status and progress of individual articles in all phases of their test cycle, including completed, current, and future tests. Communicate, as needed, with test directors and vendor field service representatives to obtain data on test articles and to ensure testing stays on progress. Identify and report any issues that would adversely affect testing progress. Provide input, as needed, to resolve such issues that may arise in testing operations. Monitor and report the physical location of test vehicles. Provide weekly status report (both classified and unclassified) on all related test activities. Develop briefing to senior leadership on the results of all testing activities.: : EOE M/F/D/V
