Provide nuclear safety support on authorization basis activities for SRNS programs and projects. This position requires a minimum 3-5 years experience as a nuclear safety engineer capable of performing daily authorization basis activities in accordance with 10 CFR 830 for authorization basis activities on various SRNS programs. The person must have experience in a broad array of nuclear safety AB activities at a major DOE site, including experience in DSA development and maintenance, JCOs, USQ screens and evaluations, PISAs, and TSR development and implementation.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
BS in engineering, math or science
Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a nuclear safety engineer in the DOE complex.
Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge in all aspects of the DOE nuclear safety requirements, and 10 CFR 830 requirements.
Previous experience in writing technical reports, developing AB documentation, including PDSAs, DSAs, JCOs and supporting documentation, writing USQ screens/evaluations, and/or performing nuclear safety analysis is required.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
