We’re looking for a self-confident, self motivated Opto-Mechanical Design & Test Engineer.  This highly talented engineer will be part of a small but dynamic OEM team located in our Edison, NJ facility.

 

Responsibilities include:

·  Designing CCD & PDA spectrometer systems for both large and small volume OEM customers

·  Developing new instruments using a CCD camera

·  Interacting with other engineers as well as sales/marketing/manufacturing teams and customers

·  Developing and testing prototype systems from concept to final product

·  Providing customer demonstrations, meeting customer requirements and satisfaction

 

Qualifications include:

·  Experience in optics, spectroscopy, detectors & electronics

·  Mechanical experience (CAD design)

·  Strong organization and interpersonal skills

·  MS Degree and prior experience with OEM opto-mechanical design and detectors is preferred

·  Occasional travel required
