Job Overview:

The Manager of Operations will be responsible for all activities at this injection mold manufacturing facility. Position leads and directs all production departments as well as support functions, including Manufacturing Engineering, Production Planning & Scheduling, Purchasing, Materials Management, Facility IS, Building Services, Quality, HRD and Facility Finance. This Position is the lead management position at this facility and is responsible for daily order fulfillment, EH&S, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities, all targeted at achieving customer satisfaction goals as measured by the company operating system metrics. Position reports to the Vice President of Operations and Technology at the Corporate Headquarters.

 

Qualifications:

▪ BS in Business or Engineering; advanced degree preferred;

▪ 10 yrs manufacturing experience;

▪ 7+ years of management experience;

▪ Proven effectiveness as a leader and a change agent;

▪ Experience with injection molding required; metal forming a plus;

▪ Flow mfg/lean mfg. experience preferred;

▪ Excellent Communication skills.
