Opto-Mechcanical Assembly Technician

Optical-Mechanical Assembler / Engineering Technician

 

Looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Optical Technician for an opto-mechanical, engineering role within our manufacturing group. Must have a minimum 4 years relevant experience in:

  Lens handling and assembly Optical system and precision mechanical assembly alignment Mechanical assembly Work Instruction and assembly process sheet preparation.

 

The ability to interpret technical drawings and process documentation is essential as is

effective communication with Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers.  Demonstrated proficiency with optical and mechanical alignment tools such as autocollimators and interferometers is essential.

 

 

Additionally, experience with formal quality plans  such as ISO 9001 is required, both in complying with our quality system and as an active contributor in creating procedures and work instructions. Lean manufacturing experience and/or medical device experience is a plus.
