This will include, but is not limited to, performing tasks associated with oil sample analysis, thermographic image analysis, vibration signature analysis, and equipment balancing. Based on that, the individual will assess the general health of equipment and be able to make recommendations and drive for corrective actions. As necessary, this person will also support testing on both new and repaired equipment to establish baseline data for reference. This position will require off shift and weekend coverage at times. This program is a key component in Eastlake Plant's efforts to increase equipment reliability and maintain cost competitiveness.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 11 years experience in an industrial facility or 8 years experience with a Technical Degree, power plant experience is preferred. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
Level II vibration certification from CSI or equivalent and Level I oil analysis certification required.
Thermographic image analysis experience is required, Level I thermography is preferred
Experience using diagnostic tools such as CSI RBMware.
The ability to perform single plane balancing.
This person must be PC proficient (MS word, excel, powerpoint, etc.) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to use standard root cause analysis and predictive maintenance techniques to assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of equipment problems.
Must be able to work beyond normal business hours and respond to emergency situations at the plant. Must be able to work comfortably in heights and confined spaces and be able to work in all areas of a power plant, both indoors and outdoors.
