PDMS Administrator

 

Primary responsibilities are those associated with the daily support, administration and development of PDMS and related products in a global environment. The specific responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:


* Develop & implement procedural documentation to formalize the company best practices & PDMS usage guidelines.
* Project management & administration of PDMS, DRAFT, ISODRAFT & Clash Manager.
* Administration of PDMS GLOBAL utilizing multiple satellite installations.
* Managing 3D model exchanges w/internal partners & external customers potentially using different

software applications.
*Practical experience developing & managing PDMS, CATS & SPECS for Piping, Structural & HVAC

  applications.

* PDMS development using PML & PML/2.

* Provide support to end users.

 

Candidates must possess: BS in Engineering or Computer Science related major or specialized combination of education and/or demonstrated accomplishments; minimum five (5) years experience as a PDMS Administrator in a global environment; Highly effective communication and collaborative interface skills, with demonstrated competency in building sound working relationships; Skilled in PML and PML/2 programming languages and PERL scripting; Experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable.  Domestic and /or international travel may be required. (5% -10%)
