PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR II

The growing Tetra Tech NUS Norfolk, Virginia Office has an opportunity for an energetic and motivated Project Administrator.   Position Summary: The Project Administrator position requires one to three years of professional experience in financial management, tracking, and reporting. A Bachelor Degree in Business, Management, or related field is preferred but not required. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have working experience/knowledge of ACCESS database software. Experience in Microsoft project and Oracle considered a plus. Work assignments will include a broad range of project financial and schedule tracking responsibilities and contract management assistance.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:   ·  Perform diverse financial and administrative functions for project and program management.  ·  Perform project analysis, invoice reviews and reconciliation, track project/task cost history, and reconcile incurred cost with client records.  ·  Download weekly cost data from company systems, prepare weekly and monthly financial tracking reports, and prepare monthly financial summaries including current month costs, cumulative costs, projected costs, budgets and variance. ·  Maintain databases in support of above and to support the preparation of routine and special financial tracking reports.  ·  Prepare and maintain project schedules and Gantts.   Come find challenge, growth and reward at Tetra Tech. Be a part of a "Premier Worldwide Consulting and Engineering Firm" recognized as a national leader in its industry.   Tetra Tech offers excellent compensation and benefits and offers a culture fostering professional development and excellence. We are home to some of the best minds in the country, including nationally renowned subject experts.
