Peoplesoft Programmer Analyst

Reports directly to the Director of Software Development. Primarily responsible for the technical development, support and maintenance of all Peoplesoft modules used in house which includes Human Resources/Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payment, and Asset Management. Uses moderate independence and judgement to recognize and resolve problems. Is accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of own work. Receives general direction on how to complete the job; works within policy and procedure. Work is performed with infrequent supervision from the Director of Application Development.

 

 

· Technical development, support and maintenance of all Peoplesoft modules

· Provides superior customer service within software development department.

· Participates in medium to large software development projects.

· Using knowledge of Peoplesoft, meets user requirements by:

· Analyzing and documenting user reported problems,

· Implementing upgrades as requested for each of the modules,

· Code programs for interfacing to and from Peoplesoft  as well as customizations

· Unit Testing finished changes.

· Works with end users of each module to user acceptance test and correct issues before implementing changes into production.

· Provides quality support for all existing financial systems following established problem reporting procedures.

· Resolves help desk tickets for existing system problems in priority order within agreed timeframes.

· May communicate program and procedural changes through verbal and written means to ensure that users are aware of the impact of the changes.

· May lead the technical development of medium to large software development projects.

· Demonstrated knowledge of computer software development process and technical knowledge of any or all of the following Peoplesoft modules : GL, AP, AM, HR/Payroll.

· Demonstrated knowledge of Peoplecode and SQR programming

· Demonstrated functional knowledge of any or all of the following Peoplesoft modules: GL, AP, AM, HR/Payroll

· Demonstrated knowledge of project planning and management skills.
