Description:Eaton Corporation's Hydraulic Systems Division of Eaton Aerospace, located in Jackson, Mississippi, has an opening for a Planner/Scheduler, Engineering to be based in Forth Worth, TX or Jackson, MS.This position is responsible for developing, updating and tracking program schedules for various aerospace systems and component level development programs/project teams.Critical for success in this role is the ability to:- Assist the project teams in the structured generation of an initial program schedule. - Ensure and facilitate the set-up of adequate tracking and earned value reporting methods and tools. - Ensure internal program management and controls processes are followed by training the project / program teams in the implementation of those processes and the use of standardized tools.- Set up and customize MS Project Server schedules to simplify schedule updates, tracking and report generation by the team.- Closely work with the various product and systems development teams, Configuration and Data Management groups, Subcontract Management / Procurement, Manufacturing and Product Support, as well as the end customer, to capture their specific scheduling and earned value reporting requirements as well as other tracking needs, and either refine internal processes & the planning templates (MS Project), and/or develop customer / program specific customizations where necessary and more economical.- Facilitate and coordinate definition and development of interfaces to other Eaton information management tools such as MatrixOne and other databases,- Collaborate in determining requirements and scope of scheduling projects and customizations while determining method of accomplishment, manpower and tools needed, and schedules required to fulfill an assignment. - Improve scheduling, reporting and management processes, and the tools required to support the processes.If interested, please apply online at www.eatonjobs.com indicating salary requirements/history. No phone calls or 3rd party vendors please.817Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree - Minimum of 3 years of related experiences in a financial/planning position or similar is preferred, with significant involvement in schedule development and financial cost/budget tracking of large projects. - Demonstrated ability to write reports and develop presentations. - Strong communication and presentation skills to work efficiently with internal customers, external customers and suppliers.Proficiency in MS Project and other MS Office products, including MS Excel and MS Access is essential.
