Plant Superintendant- 2nd Shift

Sedona Technologies, a leader in the placement of Engineering and IT professionals, has a client in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa that is looking for a Plant Superintendant- 2nd shift.

Description:Directly manages Operational departments, insuring all activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and philosophies. Assign work schedules within budgeted costs and encourage a safe, healthy, productive work environment. Insures that correct  and timely compliance with work schedules are followed on all shifts and in each department of the entire plantCoordination of efforts with various departments and shifts is key to duties and assignments.Create environment that expresses care, concern, and fairness toward all team membersPromote cooperation and dedication to superior workmanship among all team membersWould report to the Plant Manager

Qualifications:

College degree is preferredRelated field experience with a strong background in management, human relations, and technical food industry skillsExperience in a fast paced manufacturing environment is preferred.Meat processing experience (5-7 years)
