Power Engineer

Provide process design for power projects including power boilers, black liquor recovery boilers, steam turbines and gas turbines. Work with heat balances. Lead studies involving various options and work with estimators to establish total installed cost estimates. Develop proces flow diagrams, P&ID's and general arrangement drawings for steam and power generation systems.15 years of power plant design experience, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.   BS in ME or ChE.  A BSEE may work if experience is good. Experience with recovery boilers, power plant auxiliaries, turbine generator Experience with design is better than operating experience, but operating experience is adequate.
