Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.• Leads a multi-discipline engineering team to support design, build and delivery of power projects and power project proposals. Power projects may include combined cycle, cogeneration, and coal-fired thermal power plants or subsystems.• Responsible for production of engineering deliverables to support permitting, equipment procurement and erection subcontracting, construction and commissioning. Works closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Startup Manager and other team members to meet project objectives.• Manages schedule, engineering staff and budget though all phases of a project.• Ensures that project engineering documents, calculations, drawings, reports and other records are properly produced, maintained and archived.• Organize, delegate, and manage design efforts to facilitate comprehensive discipline integration on a project.• Mentor younger engineering staff in support of long term company interests.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program in the USA or an engineering program, offered by a foreign institution, accepted as valid in the home country or the country in which the individual is practicing.• Minimum of 12+ years of power facilities design experience.
