Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D Requisition: Power Systems EngineerPosition Requirements: ATK Mission Systems,is a leading supplier of aerospace systems, space systems, weapons systems, and technical services.ATK Space division, located in Beltsville, MD,is currently seeking a Power Systems Engineer for its Electrical Systems Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, integration and test of spacecraft electrical power systems.Position qualifications include a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of5 years of directly relevant experience. Spacecraft power systems engineering skills such asdesign and analysis of power requirements, grounding configurations, photovoltaic power systems, and various types of batteries commonly used onspacecraft, and energy balance modeling are required. The candidate will alsobefamiliar with the electrical ground supportequipment requirements for testing and integration of spacecraft power systems. It is preferred that applicants have a Top Secret security clearance with current SSBI. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and be required tomeet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
