Responsibilities

This staff position reports to the Project Engineer with responsibility for project contract administration.  Develop and manage construction project administration and control procedures from inception to completion.  Ensure conformance to contract provisions.  Handle all contract correspondence.  Manage preparation of subcontracts, change orders, claims identification and their administration.  Coordinate and manage project schedule development.  Establish and manage cost codes, progress quantities, cost controls and monthly costs reports.  Development payment and billing procedures, and payment provisions for all subcontracts and approve payments.  Manage exception reports on progress, costs and schedules.  Process acceptances and completion reports on project contracts.  Negotiate contracts and bring terms to final agreement.  Handle field construction planning and execution.  Prepare reports pertaining to procurement, costs, scheduling, and project status.

Qualifications

* A University Degree in Business or Engineering combined with a minimum of five years related experience, with preference for an individual with a construction background
