GeoEngineers, a leading national earth science and technology consulting firm recently voted Eastside Business of the Year by the Bellevue, WA Chamber of Commerce, is seeking a talented Principal Water Resources/Hydraulic Engineer for our Redmond, WA location.

Our Principal Water Resources/Hydraulic Engineer will be responsible for all phases of technical project management with an emphasis on open channel hydraulics, hydraulic modeling, hydrology, river restoration and flood assessment and mapping. Will also provide expertise in the areas of technical review, quality control, staff mentorship, business development, budgeting and proposal writing.

Location may be Redmond or Seattle, per candidate preference.


Preferred Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Hydrology required. MS preferred. Minimum 10 years professional experience in surface water studies, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, stream/river restoration design, and civil engineering design. Experience with sediment transport modeling and geomorphology preferred. Experience with Northwestern U.S. water resources and geology a plus. Successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work within multi-disciplinary project teams and professional-level verbal and written communication skills. Registration/Certification in technical specialty if available.
