Principle Project Controls Specialist

US Citizenship RequiredAdvanced proficiency in project management software for assigned projects: Prima Vera P3, Prima Vera P5, Cobra, or IPS2000. Ability to learn, understand and utilize new software in a reasonable amount of time.BS Degree or equivalent.5 years experience. Job Description : Scheduling Principles, Practices, and Control. Ability to apply scheduling principles and practices as required for assigned projects. Ability provide the development of a schedule that identifies the activities necessary to produce the products and/or services requiring completion during project execution (i.e., identify and define activities, sequence identified activities, identify needed resources for each activity, activity duration, identify special coding requirements, develop project work breakdown structure, and responsibility assignment matrix, etc.). Ability to perform baseline schedule maintenance and control by obtaining activity status from responsible individuals at least monthly, updating schedule with status, reviewing and performing analysis of schedule progress. Reviewing schedule progress with project team identifying either adverse or favorable performance trends. Advanced ability to develop and maintain Company Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) for area of assigned responsibility.Ability to Identify Problems and Provide Assistance to Solutions and/or Forward Looking" Analysis and Forecasting Advanced ability to focus on proactive, forward thinking analysis, process orientation, metrics, etc. in order to provide early warning signs and provide advance notification of potential perceived and/or real problems and assist in identifying recommended solution(s) before problem is realized. : : EOE M/F/D/V
