Pro E Designer

Location: 14450 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Pay Rate: 43,800.00 - 56,100.00 USD /year POSITION: Pro E Designer HOURS: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. POSITION SUMMARY: Create new or modified products using Pro-E CAD systems with minimal to no supervision. Design and modify equipment to meet industry, product and customer specifications. JOB DUTIES: Interpret specifications (industry, product or customer) and convert requirements into final designs with minimal to no supervision.  Review customer order to determine scope of design work  Create part and/or installation drawings to meet customer specifications  Generate BOM change and load part numbers to the product master.  Analyze designs as required to ensure conformance to order requirements  Interface with other departments to ensure design is economically manufacturable and meets requirements  Compete all work within the requirements of the order schedule Provide technical support for all functions in the value stream such as Applications, Engineering, Contract Management, Documents, Procurement (including sub suppliers), Assembly Education: AAS in Design & Drafting; BSME Preferred Experience: Two to Five years Skills/Knowledges:  Mechanical aptitude  Pro/E CAD System proficiency  Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PP & Access, AS 400  Ability to interpret specifications  Familiar with industry standards  Familiar with manufacturing processes
