Pro-E Wildfire
We have multiple openings for individuals with Pro-E Wildfire experience both as Designer and Engineers:
1) Machine Design - Design of custom automation equipment, including material handling, transfer, stacking and pick and place systems using Pro-E Wildfire. Requires strong machine design background, including concept, component selection, and detailed design. Requires experience in motors and drive systems, actuator spec, pick and place, vacuum, and related machine design applications, and project engineering skills to coordinate and manage outside vendors, timelines, and assembly / manufacturing support. Prefer Pro-E Wildfire design experience; will consider strong SolidWorks design skills.
2) Electrical Designer - Immediate need for Electrical Designer for modeling and documentation of electronic PCB assemblies, wiring, and cabling using Pro-E Wildfire. Will support new product design, modifications to existing products, and related test equipment development. Will provide overall design and drafting support to electrical engineering staff, and interface with mechanical engineering staff to ensure compatibility of electrical designed components into mechanical assemblies.Requires 2 year AS degree, and 4+ years design experience, preferably with high volume stamped and injection molded components, and electronic PCB, cabling and high volume electronic assembly knowledge. Requires expertise with Pro-E Wildfire and electronic documentation requirements, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with minimal direction. Prefer experience in test fixture design and procurement, and support of proto builds and pre-production runs
3) Mechanical Design - Mechanical designer for support of new product development. Requires 2 year AS degree in mechanical design, and prefer 3 to 7 + years experience with parts design, modeling and detailed documentation using Pro Engineer / Wildfire. Prefer experience in design and layout of plastic injection molded parts, castings, tooling, and purchased parts, and working with outside vendors and suppliers. Requires Solid Pro-E skills, including Wildfire, and experience with BOM and PDM documentation. Requires excellent documentation skills, tolerancing experience, strength of materials, and ability to work in fast paced development environment. Experience with surfacing is a plus.
4) Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical Engineer responsible for new product design and development, focused on packaging of electronic components for industrial control products. Responsibilities include project lead and parts analysis, material specification, manufacturing support, and coordination with marketing and customers to develop new products for emerging markets. Requires BSME with a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in development of high volume stamped and injection molded components, including electronic PCB and high volume electronic assembly knowledge, and strong overall plastic component manufacturing experience. Must have strong design skills, as well as experience as project lead, including ability to organize and implement new designs and prototype development, identify parts and assemblies that require tolerance analysis or FEA, manage other product designers and engineers as a technical lead, and coordinate tooling, analysis, and product manufacturing with both outside vendors an internal production groups. Requires strong project lead experience, and ability to utilize Pro-Mechanica for analysis, Prefer Pro-E design experience.
