Summary:

 

House of Batteries has an immediate need for a Process Control Quality Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this individual will develop and implement industry-benchmark quality standards in engineering and manufacturing by monitoring critical process data, drafting component and process specifications, and performing appropriate inspections on production output.

 

Responsibilities:

 Ascertain the disposition of nonconforming material / conduct MRB Analyze and process customer returns Perform Root Cause Analysis Issue and implement corrective actions Support Incoming and Final Inspection Develop and implement production process controls Monitor effectiveness of process controls using various quality tools Assist in development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Inspection and oversight of key production processes Provide quality training to production personnel Develop control plans and PFMEA for specific products



Requirements:

 BSEE or BSME preferred but not requiredA minimum of 5 years of industry work experience is acceptableSix Sigma practices and procedures desirable. Strong foundation in sampling and statistical techniques. Reliability requirements, including environmental and safety standards.Product testing standards.
