Process Engineer

Specific Duties:Candidate would be responsible for process engineering and proposal and project support to meet the increasing demand for products within NATCO’s Gas Technologies business segment.   The group focuses on specific proprietary NATCO technologies. Major technologies represented within the segment include Cynara® CO2 Membrane Separation Systems, Shell-Paques® desulphurization technologies along with other more traditional gas production separation processes. The candidate would be responsible for generating process designs that meet the needs of the bid specifications, some elements of proposals, HYSYS simulations, PFD and P&ID, HAZOP support, data sheets, process equipment specification, detailed designs, layouts, operating manuals, control logic, cause and effect diagrams and front end project engineering requirements. Requirements:  ·        Good working knowledge of HYSYS gas modeling software is required.·        Experience with gas process design including compression, separation, dehydration, hydrocarbon dew pointing is preferred.  ·        Gas plant operations experience is helpful.·        The candidate would routinely interface with an engineering manager who runs a shared service project management team.  ·        The candidate would not be responsible for project management, purchasing, mechanical, and structural or electrical engineering, or cost estimating.Education:The successful candidate will have a Chemical Engineering or related degree.
