Production Planner to $55K

National Consumer Products Manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner for their Central New Jersey facility. The Production Planner is responsible for determining production priorities; publishes and monitors production; resolves scheduling problems; maintains production database.

 

Responsibilities:

*Determines production priorities using master production schedule and customer requirements

*Organizes production schedule by studying work order specifications, availability of material, and workforce

*Publishes production schedule by identifying products, equipment, completion dates

*Monitors production by collecting production logs versus scheduled progress

*Prepares reports by complying and summarizing production and down time data

*Maintains production data base

 

Required:

*Bachelors Degree

*2 to 5 years experience as a production planner in a manufacturing environment

*Solid computer software skills, Oracle experience is preferred

*Able to summarize critical production issues in a cogent manner
