This individual will lead a team of engineering professional to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures for design projects related to transportation structures. As part of this position, the selected candidate will be given the opportunity to serve as a team leader delivering cost-effective engineering solutions and multi-discipline coordination on a variety of transportation-related projects with varying degrees of complexity. As an integral member of our team you would be responsible for leading a team of engineering professionals in completing the design of structural components in connection with major urban interstate/interchange reconfiguration projects and other transportation-related projects. The role on projects will also include tracking of project budgets and progress on a weekly basis, coordination with clients and sub-consultants, and/or coordination with team project managers and cross-discipline task leads. Additional responsibilities will include mentoring/directing mid-level and junior staff, and assisting or leading business development efforts.This position requires 15-20+ years of engineering and/or project management experience with a BS degree in Civil Engineering and prior experience on any DOT or local agency projects is required.
