Program Support Specialist for US Coast Guard Training Program

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and seven years of job related experience or equivalent. Proven successful work experience in a field that required good written communications skills, working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work. Must have good communications skills, both written and oral is a must. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Access. Individual must possess planning and organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Position may require travel. Job Description : Program Support for US Coast Guard Training This individual will provide and coordinate program acquisition support to the PM USCG Fast Response Cutter -B Class Training Manager. Duties will include: Interface with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support and achievement of customer goals; interact and advise customers, through the application of specific program knowledge and subject matter expertise, in the execution of program management tasks; develop, review and coordinate program documentation such as plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, contact/contract modifications, technical instructions, technical procedures or related material; analyze and track project budgets, schedules and deliverables; conduct research into specific areas, prepare and report findings to the customer; create and maintain master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal); review, analyze, provide technical comments, and assessment of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific areas and prepare findings; and provide other program management support as required. This individual would also be responsible to lead and mentor personnel assigned to program support functions.
