Becht Engineering is a privately held company that provides expert consulting services to the process and power industries, worldwide.  Our clients include virtually all major petroleum and petrochemical companies both in the U.S. and abroad. 

 

We are seeking an exceptional individual and team member to assist us in our rapidly growing West Coast office, located in Irvine, California.  The successful candidate needs to be well-versed and knowledgeable in the use of MS Office applications; be a strong communicator (both verbally and in writing) and should possess a willingness to support a dynamic team of engineering advisors.  Working under the supervision of a project coordinator, the project assistant will be involved in all aspects of our business; from proposal development through project completion.  This individual should have the ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks and interact with clients and project team members all while maintaining a high standard of professional courtesy and a high level of customer service.  We have a reputation for getting the job done right, and so should you! 

 

Tasks and job responsibilities encompass the following activities:

 

· General administrative duties including but not limited to answering telephone, responding to emails, filing, ordering supplies, travel coordination, etc.

· Monitor and maintain project schedules and budgets.

· Assist in the coordination and implementation for corporate events and advisor activities.

· Monitor and update a database of West Coast client contacts.

· Assist in the preparation of proposals for advisor and engineering services.

·Provide support and assistance to engineering advisors placed on temporary assignment at local client sites.

· Prepare project meeting notes, minutes, correspondence and reports.

·Coordinate logistics for training courses at Becht Engineering offices in Irvine.

·Assist in the creation of flyers, newsletters, and brochures for Becht Engineering training courses and seminars.
