Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.The Spartanburg office of CH2M HILL Lockwood Greene has an opening for a Project Control Specialist. This individual is technically competent and functions as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts. Under management direction, this individual is responsible for the development, implementation, training and execution of all project controls processes and systems. Ensures that all project control activities such as project administration, change management, project estimating, cost management and schedule management are executed in a timely fashion and in accordance with all company standards and contractual requirements. This individual has the ability to function with technical proficiency in formulating and developing project control concepts. This individual must be able to complete the following duties: · Assist in the development of scope, schedule, budget and estimate to complete data for assigned tasks· Assist in the creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and development of schedules and budget data (including resource loading) for those WBS elements· Applies unit rates to quantities and performs extensions for total cost estimates · Assembles and compiles schedule and cost data and inputs into the project control database and provide output to the project team· Assist in preparing status reports and other related project planning and control documentation· Assist in managing and maximizing project margins· Advise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, schedules and client relations· Support the Project Management team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.· Provide input to project financial systems· Provide feedback to estimating· Provide support to project financial reporting and invoice/billing processes · Assist in the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management and/or owner informed on the project progress.
