BUSINESS PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING ANALYST, PROJECT COORDINATOR

We are currently seeking a Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) Project Coordinator for our corporate headquarters in Westlake, California.  This position will report to the Vice-President of Worldwide Business Development and will be responsible for the optimum design of business processes, analysis, documentation, and mapping of JAFRA’s current business principles. Working closely with the VP of Business Development, this individual will coordinate, develop, implement, and constantly improve JAFRA’s best practices manual.  Successful candidate will support corporate projects and initiatives across the organization to ensure the design, development and delivery of high quality programs and processes to pursue global fitness and geographic expansion. 

 

This is a temporary position for one year with the possibility of full-time regular employment.  Initial training will be in Mexico for 3-weeks.  Ideal candidate must be able and willing to travel to Mexico at least 3 - 4x a year for a one-week duration. 

 

Major Job Function:

 

· In conjunction with the VP of Business Development, work with cross-functional and multi-cultural groups to compile JAFRA’s Best practices and business principles. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

· Write and update process documents including business procedures, organization success principles, and best practices. 

· Conduct key activities such as requirements identification, data collection and analysis, business process flow mapping, data modeling, and defining organizational performance metrics.

· Responsible for key activities including facilitating interview sessions, developing organizational process best practices and providing process improvement recommendations. 

· Facilitate and direct meetings and workshops in accordance with the methodology of “Business Process Management” work policies to assure the right development and implementation of automated and annual processes. 

· Map and diagram processes consistent with the actual corresponding procedures in order to obtain and identify areas of opportunity to apply the best practices techniques.

· May work on special projects

· All other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, IT Engineering, or Business Administration. Must have 1 - 2 years experience supporting business process re-engineering efforts.Must have experience with engineering concepts and procedures.Problem-solve and identify opportunities through the use of analysis, expert knowledge (on own or with team members), and analytical thinking.  Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow projects from beginning to completion and monitor progress and adapt plans according to change in circumstances.  Fluency in written and spoken English.  Spanish speaking and writing skills helpful but not required.Requires occasional travel to Mexico.
