Project Cost Control/Scheduler

Our client in the Coraopolis area is continuing to grow and with that growth comes recruitment.  They are actively looking for a Project Cost Control/Scheduler for their company.  This position is key as the candidates will continue to help them be innovative within their industry.  Our clients primary role in the project is the development of the installed cost estimate for the entire facility.  They are receiving information from the equipment manufacturers, service suppliers and contractors in various forms that may need further processing to get an installed cost estimate.  In addition, they are responsible for the design of the facility infrastructure, utility distribution systems, water systems, equipment foundation, and piling.  Their focus is to ensure that the entire scope of the project is being priced by some method by someone.  The information we are receiving as engineered packages is being broken down into discipline specific packages and forwarded to contractors for estimates. The information we are receiving as installed cost is being directly entered into the cost control document. Preliminary foundation designs are being developed from the vendor information and entered into the budget as unit cost.  We have developed preliminary designs for the infrastructure, water systems and utility distribution network.  These have been forwarded to contractors for pricing.We need a Project Cost Control/Scheduler to take ownership of the budget document. The persons role would be: Responsible for tracking the bid packages to ensure that pricing is being developed by some method for the purchase and installation of the entire project scope.  This would involve keeping a running list of who has what and when we issued it.  It would also involve tracking the bid packages against the project scope to ensure that we are getting a price for everything. Updating and modifying the budget document as necessary. Integrating the suppliers schedules into a total project schedule and working with the customer construction group to incorporate the installation activities. Attending numerous budget and schedule update meetings. Producing reports for the customer.  The budget document will be developed Access but the reports will be in Excel.  Scheduling software has not been selected.
