Architectual Project Designer II & Project Designer III (2 Positions!!)

 

Location: Fremont, CA and San Jose, CA

Salary $50,000 to $65,000 plus medical, dental, 401K, vacation, etc

Our client is an award-winning architectural firm that focuses on commercial, civic, and educational projects. We are looking for 2 Project Designers to join the team!

 

Project Designer II - $50,000 to $60,000
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

Experience: 2-4 Years

 Developmental level performs routine architectural assignments under direct supervision. Works from designs of others, compiles data, performs design computations, prepares architectural drawings and renderings, consults manufacturers, evaluates materials, collects product literature to use in writing architectural specifications, and inspects architectural features of structures in the field. Limited judgment is required on work details when making preliminary selections and adaptations of alternatives. Assignments may include higher-level work for training/development purposes.Requires minimum of 1-3 years "Project Designer I" or related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Supervisor screens assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects techniques/procedures for non-routine work.Receives close supervision on new aspects f assignments. Performs specific/limited portions of assignments suited to more experienced architects using prescribed methods

 

Project Designer III - $55,000 to $65,000

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

Experience: 3-5 Years

 Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications.Assignments have clear and specific objectives requiring investigation of limited set of variables. Requires minimum of 3-years "Project Designer II" or related experience.Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions. Assistance is required on unusual problems and assignments reviewed for sound application of professional judgment. Performs architectural assignments with direction, not immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility. Recommends and selects procedures. May be assisted by architects or technicians. May be responsible for phases of individual revenue-producing projects.
