Project Director

General Function:To successfully manage individual Project Managers SPECIFIC DUTIES:Project Leader ·Maximize cash flow and consistently meet revenue forecasts·Estimate durations, level resources, optimize schedules and develop forecasts of future performance·Understands the roles and responsibilities that are allocated between the SCM and project team·Understands ASME/API requirements and can interpret drawings·Fluency in MFG “Lingo” and processes·Provides leadership and identifies safety hazards and creates mitigation plans Relationship Manager ·Provides complete and clear feedback and has excellent relations with Functional Managers·Creates, obtains commitment and implements plans that address the unmet or revised expectations·Effectively communicate with customers in ways that build trust and a greater understanding as it relates to change order management, our operations, and the project itself.·Can negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes·Can lead discussions effectively; involves others in handling differences, clarifying, answering questions and making decisions with adverse audience and cultures Risk Manager ·Identification of lessons learned including root causes and prioritization and go-forward improvement plans·Demonstrates competency in reviewing and assessing customer terms and conditions and provides responses that are appropriate for the NATCO business model·Conducts the qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and develops mitigation/contingency plans·Creates options, follows MOC procedure fully and evaluates all (Schedule/$/Relationship) impacts and negotiates outcomes·Able to analyze variances and causes, reconcile actual and planned funding, forecast residual cost and can perform trend and forecasting functionsTeam Leader ·Delegation – can maximize strengths and mitigate weaknesses by effectively utilizing the strengths of others·Collaboration – maintains issues log, works issues during project meetings; elicits suggestions, mediates and actively escalates issues as needed·Goal Setting – Identifies project goals in the execution plan and develops a comprehensive action plan for the achievement of goals·Facilitating – Demonstrates competency in leading a focused agenda, actively resolves issues and conducts personal interviews·Coaching – Provides specific and helpful guidance and instruction in addressing difficult situations and solving problems·Communicating – Demonstrates competency and consistency in communicating the context and importance, expectations and practices around goal achievement EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline, 15 year’s progressively responsible experience in project management methodologies for the Oil & Gas Industry, PMP certification   "Wherever you are in the world , whatever your oil, gas, or water process challenge, count on NATCO to deliver your solution."
