Project Engineer/Manager

Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Contact Information Company: Brown and Caldwell JOB DESCRIPTION Our Columbus, Ohio Municipal Services group is looking for an experienced Project Engineer/Manager. Ideally this person will have experience in a number of civil/environmental engineering activities including: wet weather program planning; utility business consulting practice, including asset management, and design.  The emphasis of the experience should be in wastewater collection systems, although additional experience in pumping stations, water distribution, wastewater and water treatment would be considered a plus.   Additional duties may include: Development of wet weather plans and reports Making recommendations in the improvement of operations   Preparation of design reports, plans, specifications and estimates Managing detailed projects from conception to completion, including staff utilization, preparation of budgets and monthly invoices Leading and mentoring junior level engineering and technical staff Leading or assisting in new business opportunities. In addition to solid technical capabilities in wastewater and water resources, the candidates should also be proficient in technical writing, possess solid marketing and communication skills, be able to interact effectively with clients and be capable of leading or contributing significantly in the preparation and presentation of proposals. We are looking for a strong team player as you would be expected to lead several other individuals on projects and may have several people directly reporting to you on a full-time basis.  Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with 7-15 years experience in the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, and municipal water collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Registration as a professional engineer (PE) in OH and experience in the consulting engineering
