Project Engineer- Water/Wastewater Design

Malcolm Pirnie, Inc is seeking a project engineer experienced in developing detailed design documents for municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will complement the current water/wastewater treatment plant design group in California by providing additional project management depth and detailed design engineering skills. The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:- Five or more years of progressively responsible experience with the majority of experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal wastewater industry.- Treatment plant design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, detailed design document preparation, and office engineering during construction. Significant experience with wastewater treatment plant design preferred.- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.- Quality oriented, team player- B.S. degree in engineering required. California P.E. required or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
