M.E. and 2-5 years experience working with an industrial equipment manufacturer. Sr. Project Engineer (50 Miles East of Pittsburgh)Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of medical products located in the Somerset, Pa area. Currently they are seeking someone with a Senior Project Engineer with an electro-mechanical background. The person selected for this position will lead product development projects from concept to manufacturing. Duties include conducting basic research, feasibility studies, product and component design, release of product to manufacturing and field support.The main responsibilities of the Sr. Project Engineer will be to design and test products and product components and serve as engineering lead on cross functional product development team(s), responsible for all engineering aspects of project(s) from concept to manufacturing and field support. They will also provide Marketing and other departments with feasibility studies, opinions and viable alternatives for new product designs and revisions to current products and assist other project engineers in the design and development of other projects. Project Engineer (North of Pittsburgh)Our client is a large international engineering company with multiple office and divisions.  Their local office located just north of the city of Pittsburgh specializes in engineered membrane filtration systems has an immediate need for a Project Engineer.  Candidates will provide overall project leadership and technical responsibility in the design of water treatment systems and facilities, including UF/MF/NF membrane filtration systems.  Will perform and direct an engineering team in all aspects of system, structural, and mechanical design of the treatment systems.
