Education
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years of project engineering or management experience with packaging line, automation, or manufacturing applications. Food/beverage/consumer products/brewery/confections experience a plus.
Requirements/Responsibilities
Responsibilities include all aspects of client relationship development and project execution including proposal development and presentation, management of project resources, project budgets and forecasting, schedule management, project engineering, integration, installation, start-up and project closure.
Requires excellent engineering and project management skills, including machinery applications, computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, & AutoCAD), and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates must be proficient at converting verbal, written, and other media-based information into project documentation, managing integration of packaging automation lines and leading project teams.
This position requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities. Candidates need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with teams, all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility. Contractor management skills are also a plus. Flexibility for travel is required.
Travel Requirements
40-60% travel will be required on a sporadic basis to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings, Design Group management meetings, company sponsored training and industry related seminars, forums or conventions.
