THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN LIBYA.The Project Manager Infrastructure receives project direction from the Technical Review Manager. Typical Duties and Responsibilities Provides functional direction and technical leadership to the Infrastructure review group’s assigned senior engineers. Responsible for direct support to the Infrastructure portion of the HIB, for ensuring that assigned subject matter experts perform their reviews and other activities according to approved project policies and procedures, approved codes, standards, and accepted national and international practices, approved project standardization elements, and required quality standards.  Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive engineering activities. Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of the HIB as well as other organizations and companies, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues. Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment. Recommends facilities, personnel and funds required to carry out programs which are directly related with and directed toward fulfillment of overall organization objectives. Responsibilities for Direction of Others May serve as team leader; mentor to lower levels.Education PhD plus 5 years or MS plus 8 years or BS plus 10 years Experience and Qualifications  Has past experience in design/construction of all aspects of infrastructure and past experience in technical management. Familiarity with infrastructure design practices and materials used in infrastructure construction in the Middle East is desirable. Position Title Project Manager Infrastructure Registration Status PE
