Project Manager Mechanical Engineer

Full-service, multidiscipline, employee-owned engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm, serving private and public sector clients throughout the western United States is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8+ years in the profession. The job encompasses a wide range of large and complicated civil and mechanical for facilities engineering and construction projects for railroad clients. Duties will range from initial conceptualization, design, QA/QC review, establishing and maintaining project budgets and construction contracting, and bid-related civil engineering/construction projects. Position is geared to a specific industry, and hence, we require at least 2 yrs experience in design and construction of site improvement facilities at railroad sites.

 Requirements:

· BS in Civil or Mechanical engineering

· P.E. in KS

· Prior railroad experience

· Ability to successfully manage and direct the work of others and mentor junior engineers

· Excellent computer and communications skills

· Candidates could be from out of state
