Project Planner

Position Description:

In this position, you will play a key role in monitoring a large variety of engineering activities associated with nuclear power plant projects.You will be part of the engineering project team and work closely with the Engineering Project Manager and Program Managers to both track and monitor the status of plant modification projects and other engineering activities.You will have the opportunity to be involved in:* Engineering and procurement schedule development.* Man-hour budgeting using a Work Breakdown Structure account system.* CPI and SPI performance calculations using earned value principles.* Invoice processing and tracking.* Monthly accrual development and issuance to the client.* Monthly report development and issuance to the client.This is an interesting and challenging professional position with excellent possibilities for growth and promotion.

Qualifications:

B.S. degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.Project controls experience is desired with a focus on project planning, project scheduling, and earned value performance.Experience with Primavera Project Planner, MS Excel, and MS Access is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.Experience in the power industry is a plus.
