We are looking for dedicated individuals who can grow with our company.  We have several immediate openings for a Project Scientist with extensive experience in Phase I ESA investigations.  This individual will provide technical expertise for projects of low to medium complexity in both the office and field.  

 

Typical Job Duties:Prepare environmental site assessment reports, including a discussion of potential impact to soils and groundwater and recommendation for complying with federal, state, and local regulations.Conduct field site investigations.Conduct property research and reconnaissance.Collect and evaluate data

 

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or other related field.Two years of experience conducting Phase I ESA investigations and preparing reports.Excellent working knowledge of ASTM Practice E 1527-05.Strong communications skills and computer proficiency.Experience in asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and sampling a strong plus.

 

Qualified Candidate Criteria:Demonstrate proficient technical report writing skills (must be able to provide a writing sample).Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel.Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; show commitment to accuracy and detail; be attentive to timelines.Effectively perform job duties with limited supervision.Demonstrate strong organizational skills.Demonstrate proficiency in common computer software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

 

Salary Range: $32,000 - $44,000 (commensurate with experience).  Benefits package available.
