Project Transportation Engineer

We are currently seeking a Project level Transportation Engineer out of our Kennesaw, GA office.
Typical Responsibilities:Project Engineer performing general design, drafting and office assignments in support of roadway projects.Work in the Civil / Transportation Engineering Design group, which includes various aspects of roadway design projects (geometrics, roadside design, hydrology, hydraulics, erosion control, traffic control and phasing, signing, striping)Under supervision of Senior Engineer / Project Manager, independently work on small to medium size roadway planning and design projects or specific design task assignments for larger roadway projects.Independently perform engineering design tasks to client criteria.Assign tasks to staff engineers, CADD specialists and manage same.Perform all work within established scope, schedule, and budget.
Typical Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering In excess of 3-4 years of progressive experience in Civil / Transportation Engineering DesignEIT certificate required; Ability to obtain PE license with 2 year of hire.Experience in roadway design following the GDOT PDP processAbility to work within multi-person team environment.Proficiency with Microstation required; CAiCE experience preferred.Knowledge of other design software beneficial (HEC, etc.)Local Candidates only please!
