Job Purpose:

World renowned international design firm seeks a full time proposal coordinator based in New York Office.

 

World renowned international design firm seeks a full time proposal coordinator based in New York City Office. Position will assist the New York, Boston, and Toronto offices with proposal and qualification packages.

 

Qualifications:

The candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing or Architectural/Engineering

 

Person Specification:

Ideal candidate will have experience in the role of a Proposal Coordinator/Marketing Coordinator for the AE Industry.

 

This post requires a candidate who must have:

· Excellent command of grammar and spelling

· Excellent computer and IT skills, including; Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Quark

· Excellent communication skills, including tact and diplomacy.

· Be extremely detailed oriented

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to meet clear deadlines

· Self sufficient, confident, proactive character, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations.

· Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.

· Experience of supporting a team of people as well as working on a one to one basis.

 

The candidate will be part of the marketing/BD team and will report directly to the Business Development Officer.

 

Key Responsibilities

Position is responsible for:

§ Tracking Business Development leads

§ Maintaining and creating submission materials

§ Creating qualifications packages and capability statements

§ Completing government forms for submissions when necessary (254, 255, SF330)

§ Following up on informational inquiries from clients

§ Maintaining corporate databases

§ Assist with other marketing team needs with regards to event planning – marketing material coordination – PR etc.
