CH2M HILL is seeking a Proposal Manager with excellent coordination, writing, and communication skills and experience in team leadership to join its Technical Publications team in Portland, OR. You would have the opportunity to work on a variety of proposals with a wide range of clients. As proposal process leader, you would support business group sales teams by leading and managing proposal efforts to win client work; oversee production staff; develop and track budgets and schedules; monitor compliance with RFP; participate in win strategy development; schedule and coordinate reviews; write/assemble proposal sections; and coordinate interview presentation development process.In addition, we are seeking a qualified candidate to develop into a Publications leader, so leadership skills are a huge plus.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:* 5 years of experience in business development or proposal leadership required.* Experience in technical writing/editing, environmental consulting, or project management.* Advanced experience in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel* Prior experience in document production* BA/BS in English, journalism, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Minimum 6 years of managing medium-sized technical proposals that were prepared for federal, state, or municipal governments or commercial clients.
