Perform failure analysis on microelectronics products and assemblies to determine the root cause of failure and appropriate corrective action. Generates failure analysis reports, failure analysis trend reports and initiates associated corrective actions. • Encourages submission of improvement ideas from team members; facilitate implementation of suggested improvement ideas. • Actively support Lean initiatives by attending training where applicable, participating in Lean activities (5S, Kaizen, problem solving, error proofing), making suggestions for improvements and sustaining improvements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university. (10) Ten+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical drawings, journals, reports, and legal documents. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis or variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Familiar with hybrid technology (chip and wire MIL STD 883 microelectronics), epoxies, and solder assembly processes (ASNI J-STD). Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and drive corrective action to closure. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office applications, database input and extraction, and drawing viewing programs.
