Quality Control Manager Needed

We have an immediate opening for a Quality Control Engineer to work in the Middlesex County, NJ area.  This company, founded over 100 years ago on traditional principles and values, is a diversified, dynamic, and entrepreneurial company well positioned for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. It is a leader in project execution and delivery focusing on the Heavy Civil and Environmental areas of construction, as well as Homeland Security, Power and Industrial, Renewable Energies and Federal Services.

Job Requirements/Responsibilities:Implementing QC systems at multiple regional construction projects in accordance with our Corporate QA/QC Manual and specific contract requirements.Ensuring construction engineering and submittals are developed to meet contract requirements. Quality Control on multi-discipline, construction and design-build projects.Experience supervising Quality Control personnel. Fully knowledgeable of ACI, ASTM, AASHTO specifications, construction inspection and test methods.

Qualifications and requirements:Frequent travel to construction sites to work with field staff to initiate and follow through with implementation of QC plans.Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, P.E. preferred. 15 years experience in construction QC with a minimum of ten years experience applying plans and procedures for accomplishing.Must have experience implementing USACE Quality Management (CQSM) systems including chemical data QC programs on diverse environmental and federal projects.Requires OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training.Experience with building, site work, roadway, utilities, and heavy/civil construction contracts ranging in value up to $250M.
