Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineering

DESCRIPTION:  Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineering.  Major defense industry manufacture of a broad range of mission critical electronic communication systems and components in the areas of, combat systems, battlefield digitization, electro-optics, power systems, data storage, digital imaging, flight safety and space, is in need of an experienced Quality Engineer.  Must have experience in product development and manufacturing quality control. Electronic component manufacturing experience, a plus. Must have a thorough knowledge of quality management and improvement practices and programs. Such as Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, TQM, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9000-series, statistics, quality metrics, and trending applications. Ability to use software programs including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and project scheduling software.
