Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Associate Degree CONTACT INFORMATION Company: Centennial Wireless Email: Apply by Email Reference Code: Kokomo/Technician I RF Technician Level 1 Kokomo, IN RF Technician Level 1Peru/Kokomo, Indiana Position Purpose Employee is responsible for the operation, maintenance, optimization and expansion of the Cellular System. Principal duties and Responsibilities Performing routine and preventive maintenance work up to and including radio commissioning, combiner checks, antenna sweeps, call testing and hand-off testing.  Test T-1s and notify the appropriate carriers of problems  Maintain cell site building and compound in acceptable condition, including coordination of maintenance with outside agencies for repair of items such as HVAC, generators, Telco circuits, etc.  Monitor the operational status of the cell site via switch dial-ups Maintain cell site documentation Other duties as requested by managementKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic understanding of the Cellular System Basic knowledge of T-1s Must have working knowledge of assigned test equipment Self motivated Analytical ability Must be able to use laptop with all necessary software. Including but not limited to Procomm, MS Word & ExcelEducation, Certification, Training, and/or Minimum Requirements Completed Apprentice Program  AAS in electronics or associated field preferred Additional Information Able to work extremely flexible hours and take on-call duties Must be able to develop the skills necessary to progress to Level II Technician Authorized to work in the U.S. This position will have access to company vehicles for driving.
