These activities may consist of systems planning, engineering research, design development and other assignments in conformance with engineering and customer specifications. Coordination of the activities of analysts, technicians and support personnel assigned to the project.Experience RequirementsThe candidate must have 5+ years experience in performing systems analysis of air defense or related systems. This experience should include: the analysis and assessment of acquisition radar and target tracking radar or surface to air missile performance, limitations and vulnerabilities; radar system performance predictions, system / sub-system trade-off studies, and evaluation of test data. Experience should also include signal processing (coherent integration, pulse compression, detection, CFAR, clutter filtering, Doppler processing, and digital signal processing), Kalman Filtering, tracking and estimation, antenna modeling, radar resource scheduling. Development of radar and missile model test plans. The candidate must have strong writing and briefing skills, and must be capable of performing the lead technical author tasks on radar and/or missile analysis tasks.Other desirable experience includes: Knowledge of specific foreign air defense radars and missiles; Matlab/Simulink radar or missile design; EO/IR modeling experience; strong software skills desired.
