Regional Sales Engineer

The Timing, Test and Measurement Division of Symmetricom is looking for a Regional Sales Engineer to join our team in Santa Rosa, California.

 

Responsibilities:To provide front line technical and applications support for our customers and sales representatives. To provide support and act as an advocate for the assigned region.To establish and maintain a regional booking forecast. Including timely reporting of customer, industry and account activities. To prepare proposals and customer sales quotations.To travel as needed in support of Sales activities.  Review Contracts in support of Sales Order Entry.To be familiar with all sales policies, as well as corporate objectives.To present a positive, professional image of Symmetricom TTM to the time and frequency community. . To develop sales presentations (including product demonstrations) to position the company with the prospect and emphasize salable features of Symmetricom TTM equipment.To prepare reports of business transactions and maintain accurate expense records.Work with Demo coordinator. To actively control demo inventories and insure optimum use in the region.

 

Essential Qualifications:Minimum of BSEE degree or equivalent experience Strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasksProfessional and able to work independently Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to work well in a team environment

 

Desired Qualifications:Computer experience  - Sales automation tool(s) such as SalesForce.com Technical Sales / Regional Sales experience
