Position Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

· Object oriented software development experience OR embedded experience in an automation or robotics field

· Understanding of Control Theory (ie: servo systems and PID controllers)

 

Nice to have:

Mechanical Analysis (static and dynamic)

GUI development (.Net)

Robotic or servo systems

Board level design

Power electronics

 

Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of automation and robotic control systems. This well-rounded engineer will apply his/her knowledge of software, electrical, and mechanical engineering to design and improve products including robotics, servo systems, power electronics, communications networks, and supervisory control systems.  You day will be split up by developing software for embedded firmware or PC real time software and consulting the organization on the electro-mechanics of the different products.  Whether you come from a Software background and are knowledgeable on Control Theory OR you come from a Control Engineering background and are willing to take on the software piece, we would love to hear from you!
