Rotating Equipment Engineer

Summary
AMEC Paragon is looking for engineers with experience in specifying rotating equipment for offshore platforms, onshore facilities, and compressor stations.

Requirements


• Minimum 5-10 years experience  with rotating equipment (turbines, compressors, pumps)
• BS in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred)
• Experience with upstream oil and gas facilities

 

Responsibilities

Work is project-oriented and an engineer may be working on a number of projects, all at various different stages, at any given time. Clients include national oil companies, major international oil companies, independent producers, and pipeline companies.
Typical work activities will include:
• selecting, sizing, and specifying rotating equipment such as turbine compressors and generators, reciprocating compressors, and pumps

• preparing equipment Request for Quotations including data sheets, scope of work, general specifications
• preparing bid tabulations
• review vendor data
•Ability to coordinate with engineers in other disciplines
